I-72 DO OR DIE PROSPECT SHOWCASE CAMP DIRECTOR & QUINCY NOTRE DAME HIGH SCHOOL HEAD FOOTBALL COACH

Jack Cornell is the Founder & Camp Director for the I-72 DO OR DIE PROSPECT SHOWCASE, and, as of March 13, 2018, is now the Head Football Coach at Quincy Notre Dame High School located in his hometown of Quincy, Illinois.

Cornell grew up in Quincy competing in many sports throughout his life, but no sport has impacted his life more than football. After high school, Cornell accepted a scholarship to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Fighting Illini football team to play offensive line. During his time with the football team from 2007-2011 the Fighting Illini reached a post-season bowl game three times (Rose Bowl 2007, Texas Bowl 2010, Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl 2011). Cornell started at Guard on the program’s first ever back-to-back bowl win teams, as well as being voted a team captain by his teammates. In May 2011, Cornell earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the U of I. Upon completion of his college career, Cornell went on to play for 3 seasons in the NFL for both the Baltimore Ravens and Oakland Raiders. During the 2012 NFL season, Cornell was a member of the Super Bowl 47 World Champion Baltimore Ravens that defeated the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 in New Orleans, LA. When his playing career came to an end, Cornell moved home to Quincy and immediately began his coaching career at Quincy Notre Dame as their OL coach. While in that role, Cornell also helped as a volunteer assistant coach for Quincy University's football team. He most recently coached at Culver-Stockton College for the 2017 season before he was named the 13th Head Football Coach at Quincy Notre Dame.
